In order to mitigate these risks, your experience at most barber shops and salons may look a little different. Based on state guidelines, salons and barber shops should currently:
-
Be performing services based on appointment
-
Not allow walk-ins or sitting in the waiting area
-
Mandate that all employees wear face masks and gloves
-
Clean all workstations before/after each client
-
Follow the strict sanitation requirements outlined by the state
While many people can go get their hair cut safely with state-mandated prevention measures in place, some people might not feel comfortable going to a hair salon or barber shop yet.
People who are vulnerable to severe illness from coronavirus, including older adults, immunocompromised individuals and those with underlying health conditions, are strongly advised to continue staying home as much as possible.
Here are a few tips to keep in mind for staying safe if you chose to come to CouyaStylez Studio.
Stay Home If You're Sick
Stay home and avoid public places if you feel ill. Before you go to the hair salon or barber, check your temperature. If it's greater than 100.4 degrees, you should stay home.
If you have tested positive for coronavirus, have been exposed to someone with coronavirus or have coronavirus symptoms, you should not get a hair styled.
Leaving your home when feeling ill puts others at risk, as you could be transmitting the virus to others. Self-quarantine in your home until you have received a negative coronavirus test and have no symptoms. Most mild cases of coronavirus can be treated at home.
Wear a Mask
Wearing a mask is one of the most important actions you can take to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Here at CouyaStylez Studio we wear a mask all thorughout your service. we Are making sure that the staff and the customer is safe.Make sure both you and your hair stylists are wearing a mask to cover your nose and mouth at all times.
Your hairdresser or barber will be in close proximity to you throughout your visit. The mask is essential for stopping the droplets that carry the virus from projecting into the air, minimizing transmission of the virus
Be Safe After Your Visit
If you want to exercise an abundance of caution, once you come home, throw your clothes in a hamper to wash.
You can then take a shower with soap and water, making sure to wash your hair thoroughly. Put on a fresh set of washed clothes and then go about the rest of your day.
